The Ascot S, or Ascot Short, is the latest model from Vaclav, the well known designer and producer of Sting, Big Sting, New Sting, Viking, and Ascot. Even though the original Ascot has proven it self on the Slope, and on the F3B winch, a “special” F3F short version was produced, getting the attention of many! The pedigree of Vaclav’s models is known world wide, and the Ascot S is a great addition to the lineage.
The wings are all carbon, very light, and very strong. The massive joiner is stout, and the typical top drive flap and ailerons with pre-installed horns make for fast building. The finish work is A+ and the model is definitely a "must have" for your quiver.
The fuse is 2.4 friendly, and has lots of room to add a ballast tube, if you wish, in addition to the pre-installed ballast tube in the wing. The Vtail is 2 pc. Great for transport!
