This model was specifically designed for thermal flying. With the MH32 airfoil on the 3.5M wing the Dragonfly Strong is capable of hunting for far off thermals with out fearing not making it back to the LZ. Care was taken to minimize weight, and the result is a very light wing loading on a competitive and strong airframe.
The wing can handle full pedal launches on the strongest of winches, or 2 man tows. The wing construction uses a huge square carbon spar and matching monster carbon center joiner. The fuse is very strong, more than capable to handle competition style ladings. It also has plenty of room to make radio installs easy.
The full flying cross tail comes completely done right out of the box. The rudder is hung and gap sealed, the full flying horizontal stabs are simple to set up or take apart in the field with custom machined aluminum. hardware, and the nose canopy allows generous access to your radio gear.
