Building off the success of the glider version of the Stratos, this electric version is already a proven success. With the power to get to altitude fast, and the efficiency to stay up, this Stratos is a perfect companion to make ANY day a good day at the flying site.
The MH32 foil will perform well in light conditions, and loves to go fast. The perfect mix of glass, carbon, and kevlar make the airframe stout, and good for some of the 'not so good' landings that sneak up on us all. This SL-E version is a lighter layup for better thermal performance. We also carry the SR-E in a full race heavy layup.
Some performance enhancing setup information
- Aileron-to-flap mix: about 40%
- Aileron throws: 16 mm up 11 mm down.
- Elevator throws: 5 mm up 6 mm down.
- Landing flap: full delection (no buzzing servos).
- Rudder throws: 5 mm up 5 mm down.
- Reflex: <1 mm; match flaps to ailerons.
- Camber: 2 mm aileron tip; 4 mm flap tip.
- Snap Flap: 3 mm aileron tip; 5 mm flap tip.
