The Orion is the latest creation from our good friends at NAN
The Orion uses a Carbon D-Box structure for the wing to the needed strength and stiffness without a large gain in weight.
The Wing Section chosen for the Orion is the NAN F3J which has been highly successful over the past couple of years on the Xplorer. The NAN F3J profile handles weight really well and is a perfect fit for an Electro Thermal Glider.
The Fuselage is 2.4ghz friendly and is large enough for a 3S Lipo. The Rudder and elevator servos are located just behind the rear of the wing and has a hatch for easy access and install.
The two piece wing easily connects to the fuselage with a large joiner. The Elevator is a two piece full flying stab that also packs for easy storage.
