Hurricane E

SoaringUSA has brought to you another exciting model from our friends at Stratair. The Hurricane E will be a show stopper at any flying field for sure! The overall quality and design of this model is superb! The airframe is extremely robust and well designed with the uncanny ability to take power systems up to 7000 Watts.

The Hurricane F3B model has been electrified!  For this purpose, a new fuselage was created which allows (unlike many other electrified F3B or F3J models) it to accommodate a wide range of different drives.

The fuselage is made in two parts: a detachable front end which contains the entire drivetrain, and the main fuselage section where the RC system sits. The receiver and the servos sit on an insert screwed into the fuselage. This allows the RC system to be easily expanded.

The Hurricane E is offered only with V-tail. Of course, this fuselage is compatible with any existing V-tail or Hurricane wings. However, it is necessary, because of the wider fuselage, to purchase longer connectors.

Drive Setup:  From 500-7000W you can install many different drives. However, we recommend a minimum power of 500W. From about 1200W near vertical climb-outs are possible. The following setup we tested with 6S Lipo and 20x13 prop for sensational climb-outs!
