The Vortex 3 F5k is a high-end electric model based on a modified Vortex 3 high performance DLG. The Vortex 3 F5k has been optimized for fast climb and easy handling to allow the pilot to use the softest lift with maximal efficiency. The Vortex 3 F5k has incredibly flat glide and low sink rate and reacts very well to both camber and ballast changes.

The Vortex 3 F5k comes with a high level of pre-fabrication to reduce the build time to just a short few hours. The nose of the vortex is designed to take a wide variety of servos, batteries and receivers in a “side by side” configuration for the receiver and battery and a servo tray for the servos. The Vortex 3 F5k supports many servo types such as MKS 75 and 65 and more. The Vortex 3 F5k is super easy to assemble at the field and the two-piece wing and removable tail surfaces allow you to take this versatile glider just about anywhere. We also have bags and ballast for an additional charge.
