Simply put, the Sharon 4200 E is an award winner. Her non-powered sister Sharons have been placing high in the F3J competitions for years and are probably the most winning F3J planes ever! Top quality workmanship!
Sharon 4200 E
Once again, Valenta has raised the bar for quality and ingenuity with the Sharon 4.2 E, The 4.2 has a new "Utility" fuse, designed for ease of assembly with plenty of room for gear, telemetry, etc. We like the Neu 1512/1.5D/6.7 motor for this. This model is an Excellent choice for a sport model, FPV, or ALES! Why pay $2000+ for a CC model when you can have the 4.2 in your quiver for 30-40% less, and have a model that will compete with any other offerings out there!
The Sharon 4.2 uses the SD7037 airfoil transitioning to the RG15, providing lots of stability at low "hunting" speeds, but still having the penetration and retention needed to come upwind and hit the next thermal. The 4.2's legs allow it to fast cruise, with max. L/D
I don't think you need to be reminded of the quality of this model. Needless to say, it is on par with what you have come to expect from Soaring USA, and Valenta Models. If you are in the market for competition equipment, you already know all about this ship.
