F3F World Record Holder 27.79
The Skorpion is a jewel from our friend "Thuro" in Austria, and is a true world class Slope Racer!
Despite being used primarily for F3F, Skorpion has what most would consider an F3B-type construction, being relatively light and using the five degree dihedral wing joiner.
Fit and finish are of "A" quality, and in the air is even better. Light, fast, and turns like a snake is the best way to briefly describe the unreal handling qualities of the Skorpion.
The Skorpion features a strong two piece wing design with beefy carbon joiner. The wings are carbon skinned, bottom hinged, top driven control surfaces and an innovative 2 piece plug in V-tail for positive "pull" action (instead of the usual "push" action) and tremendously easy transportation.
Machined brass ballast is included, as well as the pre-installed V-tail ball linkage, and all the hardware making a easy build. We also offer the padded wingbags, with embroidered logo!
This plane is proving to be very popular in the primary F3F leagues here in the USA, and of course in it's home county of Austria.
As our friend Thuro says in Austria.... "LET THE AIR BURN"
