The Portachiavi Center of Gravity Meter is a highly rated, precision digital meter which gives two important data points of your plane: its precise weight, and the exact location of the center of gravity or balance point. This meter makes all other "gadgets" obsolete. It's easy to use, too, just set the scale on a flat surface, turn the switch on, wait for it to ask for aircraft, set the aircraft in the cradle with the leading edge of the wing touching the rods and read the LCD screen. The Center of Gravity Meter is equipped with a 9V battery that feeds a complex system of capturing and calculating weights, and displays the data on an LCD screen connected by a cable to the scale for easy handling and viewing. This scale has a measuring range of up to 3 kilos (6.6 pounds) for times when you are flying a sailplane with heavy ballast.
