Kappa 3.5 is a very popular FAI/F5J competition model (electric thermal duration, World Cup Rules). We've added the entire line of Kappas because we've received so many requests!
The Kappa 3.5 is a competitive glider, but it also excels at sport and weekend fun flying as its performance is simply outstanding, the handling is graceful and precise, and stability is almost free flight steady with no bad habits. A good choice for the out-runner class and for beginning F5J competitions.
We have two variants in our current inventory: Standard glass/carbon layup (lightweight), and Full Carbon layup (extra carbon strong!) Be sure to choose the layup you want to place in your shopping cart. The Full Carbon layup is best suited for windy/strong conditions.
Our price includes nice bags, LDS (Linear Drive System) installed in the wings, and an excellent parts kit supplied with the model.
