Using the latest barometer capsule technology, the GliderKeeper Pico with display also features an accelerometer for recording landings for F5J FAI competitions.

GliderKeeper Pico Altimeter and Competition Recorder

The smallest AMRT and FAI approved device on the market, your flight time is started upon throttle movement during launch, the same event as for motor timing in F5J rules. Altitude is also recorded. Landing is captured by measuring the fuselage vibration on the model´s touch down.

The GliderKeeper Pico microcontroller features native Wi-Fi capability, so after landing you can choose to perform another F5J flight or enter in Wi-Fi mode to see your flight results, both F5J “start Height” and duration of the flight, on your mobile device. With Wi-Fi mode you can access the configuration of the loaded firmware, perform housekeeping in the unit and update firmware. No need to remove the Pico from the airplane. 

The Pico is compatible with GKSync+ and the GliderKeeper Programmer.
