The Dual Battery Magnetic Switch 7A is designed for F5J competition gliders where safety and low weight are important concerns. It is very small, strong, and super reliable due to its redundant design. Dual battery redundancy provides security and peace of mind. The switch automatically selects the battery or BEC with the highest voltage. If the voltage is the same, the power is drawn from both batteries or BEC’s. If one battery or BEC is removed, or there is a short circuit, it will not affect the other battey or the output voltage. 

With this switch, your R/C model can be turned on or off without needing to access it internally. Your model retains the lowest possible surface drag. Just move a magnet over the switch on the outside of the model, and it turns ON. To turn it OFF, just pass the magnet over the switch again. The switch has an ultra-low power consumption in the OFF state. The consumption is so low that the switch can be connected to a 1000mAh battery for several years without discharging it. The switch has a built-in failsafe function. If disconnected from the battery, it remembers its last state for at least 10 seconds. This feature protects the switch against momentary power glitches caused by a bad battery connection, etc.

All switches have been tested with 10 amps for 30 seconds before delivery. Standby consumption is controlled and a visual inspection is made. We recommend the Magnet Holder: LINK
