GliderKeeper V2
Using the latest barometer capsule technology, GliderKeeper V2 also features an accelerometer, convenient built-in OLED display, and improved connectivity.
GliderKeeper V2 Altimeter and Competition Recorder
Flight time is started upon throttle movement during launch, the same event as for motor timing in F5J rules. Landing is captured by measuring the fuselage vibration on the model´s touch down.
The GliderKeeper microcontroller features native Wi-Fi capability, so after landing you can choose to perform another F5J flight or enter in Wi-Fi mode to see your flight results, both F5J “start Height” and duration of the flight, on your mobile device.
With the same sturdy and compact form of the original GliderKeeper, the new GliderKeeper V2 inherits all that was good from the original GliderKeeper and the GliderKeeper Pico and its large expansion port.
This will allow for those that want the same connection and to configure their GliderKepper via a USB cable with the help of a Pico programmer which now expands its functionality to the GliderKeeper V2. The large expansion port opens the future for telemetry output and further enhancements. It will also connect to GKSync or a spare display thru the small expansion port.
Half a gram lighter and 2mm shorter than Initial GliderKeeper, the V2 features a switching power supply that can use up to 17 volts for power. GliderKeeper V2 requires the use of the GliderKeeper Desktop App v3.30.3 or higher in a Windows environment for USB cable programming.
