Shipping & Return Policies
Shipment Processing Time
All orders are processed within 2–3 business days of receipt. Orders are not processed or shipped from Friday, 12 pm PST through Sunday, or on major U.S. holidays.
If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. If your shipment experiences a significant delay, we will contact you via email or phone with an update. We will update on the status of back-ordered items.
Shipping Rates and Delivery Estimates
Shipping charges and options for U.S. and International orders will be calculated and displayed at checkout. We ship via the U.S. Postal Service and by FedEx. Larger items will ship by FedEx only. Express services are generally available for most items.
*Overnight delivery is only available for orders with delivery addresses within the continental United States.
Shipment To P.O. Boxes Or APO/FPO Addresses
SoaringUSA ships to addresses within the US, US Territories, and APO/FPO/DPO addresses.
Important: When entering the shipping information for APO/FPO/DPO addresses, enter the APO zip code AND the country in which the military base or address is located. Once the zip code and country are entered and the code matches the country, your shipping options should appear. Shipment Confirmation and Order Tracking
You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email with your tracking number once your order has shipped. The tracking number will be active within 24 hours.
Customs, Duties, and Taxes
SoaringUSA is not responsible for any Customs, Tariff fees, Duties, VAT or other taxes applied to your international order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the customer’s responsibility.
Return Policy
Soaring USA offers a 10-day return period on new-in-box products and merchandise. Return or refund requests after the 10 days will be granted at the discretion of SoaringUSA. There will be a 20% restocking fee on any returns except for defective items. There are NO returns on customized products and NO returns on any aircraft model. Any additional expenses incurred during the return process like customs fees, brokerage fees, and any import taxes will be deducted from the refund.
If you need to return any item to us, please e-mail us as soon as possible and let us know which item(s) you would like to return along with a photo verifying that the item(s) are in new and un-damaged original condition. You’ll receive back a Return Merchandise Authorization Number from SoaringUSA and instructions on how to ship the item back to us. The RMA number is good for 10 days. Allowances for returns after the 10-day period will be made at the discretion of SoaringUSA.
It’s very important that all items related to the return item(s) be included along with a copy of your invoice. Securely re-pack the items for shipment to avoid any damage and insure the shipment for the full value against loss or damage. Items received by SoaringUSA that are damaged in transit, and not insured, will not be eligible for refund. Upon receipt and verification that the returned merchandise is in new and original condition, SoaringUSA will issue a refund.
Damaged Shipment Policy
Do not accept a package that is visibly damaged and if possible, open the package in the carrier's presence. If the contents are damaged, refuse to accept the item from the Carrier. Please notify SoaringUSA immediately that you received a damaged package. Take photos if possible. If the visibly damaged package or item was left at your door, Do Not Open It. Take the damaged package to your local Carriers office and open it in their presence. Don’t discard any of the packing materials or damaged items. Photos of the damaged package and contents would be helpful in resolving any claims. After you contact us, we’ll begin the claim proceedings and give you instructions on what steps you need to take. Replacement merchandise will be shipped by SoaringUSA upon receipt of claim proceeds. We pack using the finest custom boxes that far exceed all carriers standards but incidents do happen. PLEASE NOTE: SoaringUSA cannot be held liable for any 4th party or other carrier not hired, or insured by us.
Defective Merchandise
If you receive any item that is defective or Dead On Arrival, please notify SoaringUSA immediately. We’ll give you instructions on how to proceed with returning the item(s). At the discretion of SoaringUSA, defective items will be either be replaced or you’ll be refunded. Any damage or breakage to any SoaringUSA product used during the act of Dynamic Soaring will NOT be replaced or refunded.
Imperfections
All of our airframes are hand-made by the best model makers in the world and small cosmetic imperfections in the paint and surfaces are normal. These imperfections are only cosmetic and do not affect the structural and aerodynamic abilities of the model. Any model with imperfections affecting structural integrity and aerodynamic performance will never be shipped.
