D1 F3K DLG Designed By WC Arijan Hucaljuk

Designed and built by World F3K champion Arijan Hucaljuk, the D1 is a state-of-the-art competition style DLG incorporating many advances in aerodynamics and carbon construction. Achieving best M/S in a thermal is ideal- The D1 has an innovative ‘M’ tail (see photos) that aides in tighter, flatter, thermal turns as the elevator is now "elevons" comped to the rudder. The anhedral gets the horizontal stabilizer further out of wake turbulence, so the elevons have more authority for this system. The joint between the fuselage and wing has been finely tuned and blended to reduce drag even further.  

This is a 5 servo DLG with aileron servos mounted in the wing, rudder and both right and left elevators for "M-Tail" mounted in the fuselage to maximize weight distribution. Construction is of all carbon with a solid core wing. The D1 can be built as light as 215 grams.

The D1 production is limited but we now stock this DLG as a kit or ARF in a variety of color ways, call us to see what we have. Spare tails, wing covers and ballast kits are available as options.
