Handlaunch gliders are extremely technical planes and the key to good glider performance is understanding how radio program settings, center of gravity, and decalage angles all work together to make your glider fly efficiently with a minimal amount of pilot input. I teach you how to measure your planes decalage angles, set the CG for vertical launches, and how to trouble shoot common problems that ruin glider performance. Techniques for straight airframe building and smooth running control surfaces are covered in detail as well.
 
Radio programming techniques for handlaunch gliders are also covered in detail so you can get your plane to fly smoothly and adjust wing camber for changing lift and wind conditions. I also cover methods for setting up flight modes/conditions which are critical for quickly changing trims, mixes, and camber angles. Included on the DVD is a bonus track with U.S. team F3K pilot Mike Smith describing his personal handlaunch glider radio set up.
